Having been hook by the Pirate Radio Stations of the sixties and having a love for pop music it was not hard for me to step up to the Microphone and interduce a few records while the group took a break at Peartree Youth a club for youngsters that was basically run by the members.

I’d never planned to make it a business, but that’s what happened, first with kit assembled at home before being the scapegoat for a small development company who wanted to revolutionise the growing Mobile Disco world with a super looking set of equipment that went on to be iconic in the disco world.
Between 1966 and that fist gig in Woolston Southampton and my final show at Hamble Working men’s club in 2004 I have travelled far and near doing live shows at all kinds of functions, far to many to mention here. I even went out to Scandinavia a few times to earn that coveted ‘International’ title.

The ever changing technology was something that had to be tried and so yours truly became the first mobile Disco in the UK to run in the video format with hug screens. The biggest surprise however was still to come as after some 20 years of retirement I dropped in to the ‘Skyline Studio’ to see what young Edwards was up to and boom  within weeks I’m back behind the mic doing a weekly show and reliving those glory days all over again.

My presentation style is one of more music less chat coupled with lots of fun jingles, you wont find me being serious about much, I’m just an old DJ cranking out the hits from years gone by and loving it.
